As I mentioned previously, the SP35A is a PNA that can run as a normal PDA but you just have to unleash it. There is 2 ways of starting windows CE.

Method 1:

Turn on the device while pressing and holding the menu and the volume up button. Keep holding it until the Windows CE screen appears.

Method 2:

1. Insert the SD card into a reader or use the supplied SD card USD adapter that was shipped with your GPS (if you bought the same one that I have) or connect the supplied USB cable into your GPS and enable USB transfer (System -> Sys info. -> USB)
2. In the root of the SD card you will find a file called SHELL.INI. Copy this to your computer and edit the file using notepad or similar text editor (I use editpad).
3. Change the text path to “\windows\explorer.exe” without the quotes and save the file.
4. Transfer the edited file back to your SD card.
5. When the GPS menu appears, press the button for the default GPS application to launch windows CE.
